Tania joined the firm in 2013. She is currently a Senior Paralegal/Legal assistant and manages the firm’s family law and Special Juvenile Immigrant Status (SJIS) caseloads before the Maryland Circuit Courts. Tania enjoys working closely with Special Immigrant youth and their families. She is very passionate about the best interest of minors through the family court system. Tania also is able to provide strong legal support to each U.S. employer when assigned to work on H-1B specialty occupation employment-based cases. Tania can diffuse any tense situation with her steadfast positive attitude. She enjoys being a team player and working closely with her colleagues to support the firm’s diverse client base.

Tania was born in Ecuador and educated since elementary school in Maryland. Tania understands the challenges and aspirations of our young immigrant population first hand. She takes great pride in assisting others in their quest for lawful status and U.S. citizenship. In her spare time, Tania enjoys the great outdoors and sports. She often hikes, plays soccer and devotes time to her family. She has a strong interest in learning about diverse cultures, food and travel.

Tania holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated summa cum laude.
