About​ Astrid

Astrid joined the firm in 2023. She is currently an Associate Attorney. She received her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and Masters in Public Administration (MPA) from Syracuse University. In 2018. Astrid received her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and Justice at Fairfield University in 2014. Before pursuing her career in law, Astrid dedicated a year of service as a Good Shepherd Volunteer at the Good Shepherd Shelter for Battered Women and Children in Los Angeles.

Astrid is admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia and her admission application to the of law in Maryland is in process. She is fluent in English and Spanish. Prior to joining the firm, Astrid worked for various legal service providers in the DMV area serving immigrants and families in domestic violence, family law, and immigration matters. She has worked on Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJS), family, asylum, removal defense and other significant areas of immigration practice. Astrid is dedicated to the practice of U.S. immigration law and immigrant representation.

Astrid is the proud dog mom of two rescues, Zora and Aroz, and aunt of six nieces.
